Troop 179 is proud to be in our 56th year of serving Northeast Tarrant County. We are a member of the Trailblazer District of Longhorn Council. Our troop is chartered by, and meets at, Legacy Church of Christ in North Richland Hills, Texas. We currently consist of scouts living in N. Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Hurst, Ft. Worth, Keller and Southlake.

We are a mid-sized troop consisting of approximately 31 boys, ranging from 11 to 17 years of age and from Scout to Eagle rank. We meet Monday nights from 7:15 to 8:45 PM and have an active outdoor program.
